’s-Hertogenbosch – Op 30 en 31 januari 2027 keert de Western Experience terug naar de Brabanthallen in ’s-Hertogenbosch voor de 30e editie. Het grootste country- en westernfestival van Nederland groeit verder met een extra hal, waardoor er nog meer ruimte ontstaat voor muziek, dans, historie, sport, western riding en de cultuur van Noord-Amerika.
Country is hot
De belangstelling voor de Western Experience blijft groeien. De editie van 2026 was op beide dagen uitverkocht. Een duidelijk signaal dat countrymuziek en de bijbehorende lifestyle in Nederland volop in beweging zijn.
Countrymuziek is al lang niet meer voor een kleine groep liefhebbers. De muziek is steeds zichtbaarder aanwezig in de Nederlandse muziekwereld, op festivals, in de media en op streamingplatforms.
Het meest veelzijdige festival
Ook de belangstelling voor linedance en de brede country- en westernlifestyle groeit. De Western Experience neemt daarin al bijna dertig jaar het voortouw en brengt verschillende kanten van deze cultuur samen onder één dak.
Van traditionele Americana tot de moderne Nashville-sound, van linedance tot westernsport en van Native American-cultuur tot Amerikaanse auto's en een uitgebreide markt: hier komen het Oude, Nieuwe en Wilde Westen samen onder één dak in het gezellige Den Bosch.
De kracht van de Western Experience zit in de combinatie. Bezoekers komen voor hun favoriete onderdeel, maar kunnen daarnaast ook de andere attracties van het evenement ontdekken. Een ideaal festival dus voor liefhebbers én nieuwsgierige bezoekers.

Met de toevoeging van een extra hal wordt het festival groter dan ooit. Daarmee ontstaat ruimte voor nieuwe onderdelen én voor een nog betere spreiding van de verschillende festivalactiviteiten. De nieuwe indeling wordt op een later moment bekendgemaakt.
Naast de grote muziekpodia vormen onder meer het Songwriter Café, westernsport, linedance, paardenshows, Native American-dans en -cultuur, Amerikaanse auto's en de grote country- en westernmarkt belangrijke onderdelen van het festival.

Western Experience 2027: Bigger and More Welcoming Than Ever!

’s-Hertogenbosch – On 30 and 31 January 2027, Western Experience returns to the Brabanthallen in ’s-Hertogenbosch for its 30th edition. The Netherlands’ largest country and western festival continues to grow with the addition of an extra hall, creating even more space for music, dance, history, sport, western riding and North American culture.
Country Is Hot
Interest in Western Experience continues to grow. The 2026 edition sold out on both days — a clear sign that country music and its associated lifestyle are thriving in the Netherlands.
Country music has long since moved beyond a small circle of enthusiasts. Its presence continues to grow across the Dutch music scene, at festivals, in the media and on streaming platforms.
A Festival Like No Other
Interest in line dancing and the wider country and western lifestyle is also growing. Western Experience has been leading the way for almost thirty years, bringing the many different aspects of this culture together under one roof.
From traditional Americana to the modern Nashville sound, from line dancing to western sports, and from Native American culture to American cars and an extensive market: the Old, New and Wild West all come together under one roof in the welcoming city of Den Bosch.
The strength of Western Experience lies in this combination. Visitors can enjoy their favourite part of the festival while also discovering its many other attractions. This makes it an ideal event for dedicated enthusiasts and curious newcomers alike.
A New Layout, Even More to Enjoy
For the 2027 edition, the Brabanthallen will feature a redesigned layout, giving all visitors more space and more opportunities to create their own Western Experience.
The addition of an extra hall will make the festival bigger than ever. This creates room for new attractions and allows the various festival activities to be spread more comfortably across the venue. The new layout will be announced at a later date.
Alongside the main music stages, key festival attractions include the Songwriter Café, western sports, line dancing, horse shows, Native American dance and culture, American cars, and the extensive country and western market.
